Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics yesterday announced that they would not be waiting years for a current-generation port of Tomb Raider, but instead remastering the early-2013 video game and launching it on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One from next month. For more information on the release itself, check out my earlier post: Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Announced for PS4, Xbox One – Why Wait Several Years for a Ported Re-release?.
But the one thing their announcement was lacking was actual in-game footage, with their trailer not available at the time of announcement. Therefore, for those who are after some comparison I invite you to check out the above trailer which was captured at 1080p. Both Playstation 4 and Xbox One releases will feature the full game in 1080p.
