Bethesda Softworks and Zenimax Online Studios have announced that The Elder Scrolls Online, the first online installment in the series, will be released worldwide on the PC and Mac from April 4th, 2014. The additional promoted Playstation 4 and Xbox One editions will be released sometime in June 2014.
To mark this release date announcement, the publisher released an all-new gameplay trailer titled “War in Cyrodiil”. The two minute long video highlights the games PvP system which allows hundreds of players to fight against each other, with the goal of claiming the “Ruby Throne”.
