Tournaments Commence for Spartacus Legends

-

Ubisoft have announced that a new player vs. player mode “Tournaments” have now been made available for their recently released Playstation 3, Xbox360 digital download title Spartacus Legends. Starting from now, players will have the option of competing in four week long tournaments that comprise of a season – with the goal of battling for the title of Champion of Capua. This title won’t be given to just the best player, but the top 1% of players based on points earned over the series.

Tournaments take place Monday to Sunday and awards are given weekly based on total number of points earned per week. Points are earned through battle participation, executions, gaining crowd favour and winning streaks among other factors. After four weeks of tournaments a series is concluded and additional rewards are given to participants on a tiered system with the highest point earners winning all possible rewards. Rewards include silver, titles, equipment, boosts and banner items. Banners and banner items, which can be won through Tournaments, are new to Spartacus Legends. Players will be able to create customized banners for their gladiators and special insignias will unlock for winning gladiators.
