Nippon Ichi Software Reveal New Details on Criminal Girls: Invitation – Not One but Two New Playable Characters

Japanese video game developer and publisher Nippon Ichi Software have shared new details on Criminal Girls Invitation, the enhanced edition of Imageepoch’s RPG that involves guiding a group of human sinners to the top of a tower-like dungeon in order for them to reincarnate…. and punishing them there necessary (eg. spanking).

This Playstation Vita exclusive port will feature a set of new scenarios, new punishment options to choose from, Live2D visuals (Which they claim will provide a greater level of expression and emotion during punishment scenes – a few samples of which are shown below) AND of greater interest in this article – the addition of not one but two new characters.

For those who have played the original release already, the character on the left should be familiar to you. Himekami was originally a non-playable character in the original games who has been promoted to playable in this release. She is a half-sinner and at the time of recruitment is in the middle of her trial. She will be punishable of course. To the right is a brand new character who has yet to be named.

Criminal Girls is set for release in Japan on the 28th November 2013, with no plans for an international release. Given that NIS America had to censor the censored bath scenes in Mugen Souls to suit the international market… I wouldn’t be expecting any international release soon.
