While Australia is now becoming a viable market for gaming conventions, with our very first Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) earlier this year. However the EB Games Expo, the first real major public gaming convention in the region is celebrating its third anniversary with a number of interesting titles to appear.
Amongst all the interesting titles and new consoles on offer at the event, it was confirmed by EB Games today that League of Legends is set to make an appearance at the event. The game will be taking over the Pavilion where fans will be able to watch a live stream of the World Championship Finals. Players will also have the opportunity to play League of Legends throughout the duration of the expo…. although what appeal there is to do so when they can easily play at home is yet unknown.
The EB Games Expo 2013 is set to be held between the 4th and 6th October 2013 at the Sydney Showground in Sydney Olympic Park. It is a three day event with general admission passes for all five sessions (Friday Daylight, Friday Twilight, Saturday Daylight, Saturday Twilight and Sunday Family Day) available as well as family passes for the Sunday event still available for purchase.
