Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland Released on Playstation Vita in PAL Regions 1

image003Tecmo Koei Europe have today announced that Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland is now available as a download only title across PAL Regions (including Australia) on the Playstation Vita from today.

Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland is the enhanced PlayStation Vita version of Nippon Ichi Software America’s English localized release of Atelier Meruru, that was released exclusively for the Playstation 3 in 2011. It served as the third installment in the Alchemists of Arland trilogy within the Atelier franchise.

This title follows the story of Meruru, the princess of the tiny kingdom of Arls, on the northwestern border of the Arland Republic. Ever since she was exposed to alchemy by famed adventurer Totori Helmold, Meruru wanted to become an alchemist. With Totori’s guidance, she sets out to develop her home kingdom of Arls using the power of alchemy. On her way, Meruru encounters new adventures, obstacles, mysteries, and friends, and discovers what life is like outside the castle walls. How you choose to guide her through the advancement of her land will determine the final outcome in her tale.

The Playstation Vita edition comes equipped with brand new costumes for Rorona, Totori and of course Meruru, new endings, powered up boss battles, all DLC from the Playstation 3 version, new illustrations, expanded gallery features and touch pad functionality. Additionally, save data from Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer of Arland can be used to gain bonus items. Fans who acquire the game before the 1st of October will receive an exclusive costume and accessory for Meruru. This unique DLC bundle includes a cute Mushroom Princess Swimsuit and a Small Straw Hat.
