The official Pokemon World Championships for both the video game series and TCG wrapped up today. But before the event concluded attendees were granted the first look at some of the new “Mega Evolutions” that were unveiled late last week. Of course the preview video wasn’t just exclusive for the attendees and you can view it in its entirety above.
Mega Evolution is a new temporary type of Pokemon transformation to make its appearance starting from both Pokemon X and Pokemon Y versions set to launch worldwide this October. Some previously announced formes such as Mega Mewtwo, Mega Lucario and Mega Blaziken were showcased alongside the newly confirmed Mega Ampharos, Mega Absol and Mega Mawile.
