Following a reported announcement from Gamescom 2013 that there would be a price reduction for the Playstation Vita console, Sony Computer Entertainment Australia have confirmed what this means for Australia.
It has been confirmed that in the region, price reductions will encompass the Playstation Vita console, memory cards for the Vita as well as the Playstation 3 12GB model. If you can hold off on your purchase until the 2nd September 2013, you will be able to pick up either Wifi or 3G models of the Vita console at a recommended retail price of $269.95 AUD while the Playstation 3 12GB model will also be available at the same price of $269.95 AUD.
While exact prices are not available, I assume that similar price reductions will be made by SCE Australia for gamers in New Zealand.
