With every Assassin’s Creed game to date the bulk of the gameplay has been within whatever past timeline the game chose to throw at us. However following the story of Desmond there where also moments where you could take a step back and see what is occurring in the “present day” – culminating into a series of modern-day Assassination missions which I thought were quite a highlight.
However with no sign of Desmond returning at least in Assassin’s Creed IV, Ubisoft have chosen to shift sides and place you in control of an employee at Abstergo Entertainment. With the games launch impending they released via their Twitter feed screenshots of four different areas in the game – the Chief Communication Officer’s office, the exterior to the building, the employees office and a reception area.
