In the last screenshot blast for The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash (Eiyū Densetsu Sen no Kiseki | 英雄伝説 閃の軌跡) we were given a tour around Thors Military Academy which would serve as one of the games main hotspots and had everything from a plethora of classrooms to an old school building that plays host to several strange and supernatural phenomena (See: The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash – Welcome to Thors Military Academy!).
This is not the only location in the game and at some point the characters travel to the Imperial Capital, Heimdallr which has a number of notable locations and personalities.
The Residents
The three newly announced characters – Prime Minister Giliath Osborne, Govenor Regnitz and Vita Clotilde
Primer Minister Giliath Osborne
Osborne is known to the public as the “Iron Chancellor” and rules over the Erebonian Empire that Thors Military Academy and other key locales reside. Since he first took office he has been working towards expanding the nations rail system, modernizing the nation and forming collaborations and mergers with surrounding nations.
He has been receiving complants for the lower class residents while more wealthier residents have been exploiting the political system.
Govenor Regnitz
The governor of Heimdallr and the father of Machias Regnitz – a student at Thors Military Academy who has a party member role in the game. An ally of Osborne during and a key player in the reformist group. He is well mannered, strong of heart and has a compendium knowledge of politics.
Vita Clotilde
Unlike the other two newly announced characters, Vita Clotilde is not of political background. She is instead a famous opera singer who is known by the name “Blue Diva”. Her appearance and strong voice has charmed many of the citizens in Heimdallr.
A Tour Around Heimdallr
The tour of the Imperial City starts with Vainqueur Street which stretches from the center of the city and is littered with cars, trams and shopping centers
In the northernmost areas of the city is Draikels Plaza which is a popular area for both citizens and tourists. In the west you have the more simply named “Art Street” which is a residential district where Elliot Craig (Another party member) resides. Close by to the North West of the city you have the Garnier District which is all about entertainment, history and luxury. This district is home to the Imperial Opera House and several facilities often used by more well-to-do residents.
Moving away from the hustle and bustle is the older Ost District located on the south side of the Imperial City and is home to Machias Regnitz. While it was once considered one of the poorer areas of the city, since Govenor Regnitz came into power the area seems to have improved considerably. However this area is still one of the main residential areas to workers and commoners.
To the south-east of the Imperial City is Heimdall Harbor which lies on the Anole River. Since the increased use of air and rail networks the use of the port for passenger vessels has declined. However due to population growth the amount of freight being carried over by sea has increased significantly and they have become understaffed.
Continuing the trip around the Imperial City our next stop is Martel Park which is in the North-East district. It is an elegant locale that is often used as a place of recreation and relaxation for the citizens. There are also some indoor areas and an artificial waterfall. The Academy of Music is also nearby and music from it oft can be heard from the park.
In the north-west of the city is the Sanct district where the Heimdallr Cathedral is located alongside a girls academy. A number of foreign embassies can be found scatted throughout the area as well.
Our tour of the cities ends with two more locations.Beneath the city is a huge underground labyrinth which similar to the schools old building is dangerous enough to warrant pulling out ones weapon. Finally leaving the city to the east will set you en-route to Galleria Fort which neighbors the nation of Krosbel.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash is set for release in Japan on the 26th September 2013 exclusively for Playstation consoles (Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita). No international release has been confirmed as of this post.
