Nihon Falcom have recently shared further details on the next installment in the Legend of Heroes RPG series titled “The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash” for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita. While the game’s primary setting is in Thor’s Military Academy and most of the playable characters actually students, this does not mean the game limits itself to simple school yard squabbles. As highlighted in the latest screenshots for the game, the characters will be coming across the Empire Liberation Front who serves as a threat to the empire.
Newly Announced Characters
Gideon
Gideon is one of the leaders of the Empire Liberation Front and houses a dislike for Prime Minister Osborne.
Scarlet
The youngest of the three newly announced characters. A high ranking officer in the Empire Liberation Front as well as the only woman. As you can see from her character artwork she wields a rather interesting sword known as the “Temple Sword”.
Vulcan
Commander of the Empire Liberation Front’s combat unit. Uses a Gatling Gun as his weapon of choice and with his tremendous strength can carry it around with ease.
Newly Announced Areas
Another new location announced to be included in Trails in the Flash is the harvesting town of Celdic which also serves as a trading hub for the surrounding regions. Especially due to high rail access, the city is bustling every week. However not everything is well in this more rural area of the country, with warehouses being ravaged resulting in high tax increases.
