It has only been a couple of days since Creative Intelligence Arts launched their Kickstarter campaign, and with an initial monetary target of $100,000 they have since earned around 4.2x of this pledge goal ($422,707 as of this post). This means that in around three days they have not only guaranteed the financial viability of the project but also unlocked the first of four stretch goals.

This success means that their team of 3D modelers will be able to create even more character and monster models, as well as allowing Project Phoenix’s lead composer Nobuo Uematsu to write additional music for the game. The next stretch goal currently at $650,000 will include both a detailed city system and a customizable character creation system.
