In a collaboration between Marvelous Games and the Russian indie developer Alexander Murzanaev, Eyes Attack has recently been released for the iOS platform via the official App Store. Available at an initial investment of $0.00 (Assumingly there is paid content for those who choose to go down that route)Eyes Attack casts players as Hunter, a fluffy blue furball who loves nothing more than disposing of evil aliens by shooting rocks, nukes and lightning bolts, while being protected using a delightful variety of unlockable hats.

Physics matters, as players must not only tilt their device to move to avoid aliens, but also to maintain the right momentum needed for their stones to hit their targets. With a limited amount of available ammunition, it’s vital for players to take advantage of the sporadic range of power-up drops throughout the course of each level.

The aliens come in many forms. The greenies are small and nimble and present little problem in the early stages. The blue guys are big and fast – and split into two when first hit. Don’t be fooled by the dotty blue ones – they are dangerous alone and terrifying in groups. The yellow ones can jump incredibly high. And as for the red ones… well, keep your wits and stones about you.

Some of the promoted features of Eyes Attack include:

  • Free to play, with 160 levels in four different environments – each with their own tricky physics twists.
  • Players can create their own daily tournaments to challenge friends for ‘winner takes all’ in-game currency prizes.
  • Wide range of funky power-ups like Tesla hats, laser towers, and costumes ranging from the sneaky ninja to the zombie and more.

It’s been a delight to work with Alexander on Eyes Attack. The first time I played it, it made me smile in a way that very few games do, and I remain hooked on it to this day.  The worldwide launch of Eyes Attack represents our continued commitment to finding and working alongside the most innovative and talented indie developers. Available now on the App Store, we’re excited to hear players’ reaction to Eyes Attack.
