While their Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for Project Phoenix went off to a booming start, as the days passed the number of backers have slowed down slightly and is hovering around the $550,000 mark. Of course, 8,870 backers contributing that amount of money in less than ten days is nothing to scoff at.
To garner interest potential pledges to the higher pledge targets, Creative Intelligence Arts have added a bonus $800,000 stretch goal which focuses on those who pledge at least $50.00 towards the game. With this stretch goal reached, everyone who pledged over $50 will receive a digital A4 poster while those who pledged $120.00 will also receive the physical poster.
The question remains…. is this $800,000 enough to add momentum towards the Stretch Goals or will it fall on deaf ears? After all, the bigger stretch goals go all the way up to $1,650,000.
