While having spent the last few years as a multi-platform franchise, Sega have decided to hang out with their former console-wars nemesis Nintendo by making Sonic Lost World a Wii U exclusive title.
In the latest trailer for the game, we get a glimpse at some of Sonic’s abilities that you will need to use to properly complete your adventure. From the common speed-ups to never before seen abilities such as transforming into an eagle or turning into a musical note…. it seems like they are trying to give the Super Mario series a run for their unique and oddly decided power-ups.
As they did with Sonic Generations, they have tried to harmonize the classic side-scrolling mechanics that gamers older than myself would be more accustomed to with the 3D platforming mechanics that I grew up playing with Sonic Adventures 1/2.
