Later this year, Sega is set to release the next Hatsune Miku game on the Nintendo 3DS platform. A sequel to the 2012 release of Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai, Hatsune Miku Project Mirai 2 is set to once again bring Nendoroid personifications of well known Vocaloid characters alongside many songs that have been produced using the PC software to bring across the many styles of music that has been created over the years through it.
Highlighted in the almost five minute preview video is not just one song but six songs – each showcasing a bit of the track and the different animation/visual styles that will be present when playing them in the game.
While internationally I still think the chances of either Project Mirai games being localized are rather low – Sega have plans to release Hatsune Miku Project Diva F on the Playstation 3 next month.
