The independent video game development studio Black Forest Games have as part of their currently on-going Kickstarter campaign announced that Mark Meer who is best known for his role as Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect trilogy will be serving a number of key voice roles within their upcoming title “Ravensdale“.

In Ravensdale, he will be speaking the role of the “Captain”, the game’s main character who issues commands and sends his knights out in the field. In addition to that, Mark also will be voicing some of the antagonists and record goblin screams and orcish war cries. These lines will be determined by the backers of the “Get Heard Pack” in Black Forest Games’ Ravensdale Kickstarter campaign.

In addition to the announcement the company held an eight and a half minute long interview with Mark Meer which you can check out below:

With 23 Days to go, Black Forest Games have only amassed $36,915 out of an ambitious pledge goal of $500,000. While I must admit I am skeptical that they will be able to pull off such a feat given the interest so far, but I still wish them well. This is their second Kickstarter campaign with their first for Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams receiving a total of $186,158 pledged of an initial $150,000 goal.
