Atelier Escha & Logy, the 15th game in the long running Atelier video game series is set to hit store shelves in Japan this Thursday (27th June 2013). With its impending release date, the company have been active in promoting the game via trailers and preview videos. One of the rather notable improvements in this installment in comparison to even its predecessor Atelier Ayesha is the battle system – which seems to have been improved considerably from a system that has received only a few alterations since its first Playstation 3 iteration “Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland”.
To highlight the system and some of the changes, the Gust Corporation have released the above nine minute trailer, with text commentary running below the in-game footage. While quite a lot of attention is put on the main characters Escha and Logix, the other party member characters do appear occasionally throughout.
