Are you in the market for a Nintendo 3DS console? If you can hold off until the 20th June 2013, Nintendo of Australia have today confirmed a new promotion which will see you walk away with one of six free and fairly recent releases.

Beginning on the 20th June 2013 and ending on the 31st July 2013, if you buy a Nintendo 3DS console, register it with Club Nintendo and complete the required steps by the 30th September 2013 then you will be able to download one of six games from the Nintendo eShop for free. The selection of games on offer includes:

Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Launching 15th June, discover a world enjoyed by over 3 million Japanese fans and  experience a whole new life in a town shaped entirely by you!
Luigi’s Mansion 2 – In this Year of Luigi, join the lean, green ghost-catching machine in an eerie 3D adventure that has been one of the biggest Nintendo 3DS launches of the year!

nintendogs + cats: Toy Poodle & New Friends – The ever popular franchise in 3D! Now you can play with your puppies and kittens in your world!
Mario Kart 7 – Mushroom Kingdom racing fun takes the excitement to new heights in glorious 3D.

Unfortunately, this only seems to cover the original Nintendo 3DS console and NOT the Nintendo 3DS XL. This promotion is also subject to the following terms and conditions: HERE.
