Atelier Escha & Logy – Character Image Files Preview Trailer Series #2 – Four of Your Party Members

With the 15th installment in the Atelier video game series “Atelier Escha & Logy” set to launch in Japan this Thursday, the developers GUST have been actively promoting the game through a series of trailers focusing on each of the games characters. The first two videos in the “Character Image Files” series we take a look at four of the games characters who will be joining you in your adventure as either Escha or Logix.

The first video viewable above focuses on Lucille Ernella, a 14 year old girl who has been educated in medicine and serves as a junior to both Escha and Logix as part of the development team. I must admit, it is nice to have a proficient healer available as a party member in the game, the only other healer I have used in the PS3 editions from memory being Lionela Heinze from back in Atelier Rorona. The second video focuses on Escha’s 20 year old cousin Awin Sidelet, who serves as a balloon mechanic for the Engineering Team. Awin enters battle wielding his custom-modified hammer.

The second video below looks at 26 year old Historian Threia Hazelgrimm who researches ruins and has some degree of knowledge in the field of Alchemy. Similar to Keithgriff Hazeldine in Atelier Ayesha using a ring to serve as a catalyst for his special abilities, Threia uses earrings. The final video focuses upon the 32 year old treasure hinter Reyfer Luckberry who works alongside Escha and Logy in their exploration of ruins and other areas.

Atelier Escha & Logy is set for release in Japan on the 27th June 2013 exclusively for the Playstation 3 in Japan. As of this post there has been no word from either Tecmo Koei or Nippon Ichi Software America in relation to any localization plans for this title. Given the support in the past however and that Tecmo Koei currently have Atelier Meruru Plus lined up, I think it is only a matter of time until it is announced.
