It has recently been confirmed by Nippon Ichi Software America that the PAL/EU region release of Time and Eternity (Aka. Tokitowa / Toki to Towa) is set for the 28th June 2013 at retail, and the 3rd July 2013 via the Playstation Network Store. Exclusive to the Playstation 3 console, Time and Eternity is a collaboration title between Namco Bandai, Imageepoch and the studio Satelight – and showcases a rather unique animation style where there is minimal differentiation between the animated cutscenes and general gameplay visuals.

In the game you play as a valiant knight whom is set to marry the Princess of the kingdom of Kamza (Toki). The only problem is, right in the middle of your ceremony a group of assassins appear with the intent on turning what should have been a happy occasion into your worst knightmare. As the knight lays mortally wounded, the princess unveils a hidden secret within her – an alternate soul/personality by the name of Towa, both of whom harbor the power to turn back time. They may have turned back time… but will they be able to reverse the course of history to find out / stop what happened that fateful day? The rest is up to you…

Some of the games promoted features include:

  • A new class of hi-def animation RPG!: From world to battle to enemies—everything is hand-drawn with beautiful CG backgrounds! Experience RPGs like you’ve never seen before!
  • Time is on your side: You hold the key to your own fate! Go back in time, prevent your own murder, and save your marriage! And help all the citizens of Kamza along the way!
  • Real-time battle: Prepare for lightning-quick real-time battle! Each heroine has her specialties, so use them wisely to blaze a path to victory!
  • Take the fight to the enemy: Take hold of swords, guns, and even time itself! Tailor your gear and skills to suit your playstyle, and unleash your fury!

For my North American readers fret not, while your regions release is slated after the EU/PAL release date, it is set to be released only a few weeks later.
