Level-5 International America Release Yasumi Matsuno’s Crimson Should (3DS) in North America and Europe

-

Level-5 International America have today announced their release of Crimson Shroud on the Nintendo 3DS, a reimagining of classic table top RPG’s in both North America and Europe. The game is now available via the Nintendo eShop for $7.99 USD and €7.99 / £7.19 respectively.

Crimson Shroud was created by Yasumi Matsuno, whose other works include Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story and Tactics Ogre. The game was recently released as part of GUILD01, a multi-game pack for the 3DS featuring titles from a number of renowned Japanese game designers. Two other GUILD01 works – Liberation Maiden and Aero Porter have already been released on the console internationally.

CRIMSON SHROUD is a brand new take on the table-top RPG where crucial decisions hinge on the roll of a die. As Giauque, a young “Chaser” who makes a profession of finding what is lost, players are drawn into the mystery of the Original Gift, the Crimson Shroud.  Dice are rolled in real time, and the outcome of a battle will depend on the ability to chain skills together strategically in order to earn bonus dice of greater face value.

When it comes to creating intricate, compelling and fun role-playing experiences, it’s hard to find anyone more respected than Yasumi Matsuno. CRIMSON SHROUD serves to continue this amazing legacy of genre-defining games.  Fans of some of Matsuno’s most beloved titles will feel instantly at home with CRIMSON SHROUD’s new take on dice-based game play and unique high fantasy storyline.
