Team17 Launches Speed Golf Mode for Golf With Your Friends

You know the typical rules of golf right? It isn’t about how long you take, but rather getting the ball in the hole in as few moves as possible. Well, what if it wasn’t about how many hits it took but how quickly you could do it in? Team17 Digital has launched a new Speed Golf mode for their co-op mini-golf game, Golf With Your Friends, which tackles just that. In Speed Golf, players compete by completing courses in the shortest time possible, rather than counting the number of shots. This shift encourages a faster-paced gameplay experience.

To enhance player capabilities, Speed Golf introduces a new handbrake feature for more precise shot placement, as well as strategically placed speed boost gates on courses to help players reduce their completion times. This update is available for gamers on the PC as well as Nintendo, Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

Promoted features of Speed Golf Mode include:

Speed is king in the brand new Speed Golf mode! Take your positions on the starting line and race to the hole to claim first place. Speed Golf is available to play online or offline on any course, including all workshop content! Speed Golf can even be experienced in teams play for an all new team racing experience.

New game setting options are now available for Speed Golf players. Race to the hole in an anything goes ruleset where only time matters, or add time penalties for every stroke taken to reward both speed and accuracy.

All courses have been turbo charged with brand new Turbo Charge Boosters! Passing through boosters allow you to reach speeds and take routes never before possible.

Sometimes slowing down is the best way to speed up. The new handbrake feature allows you to slow your roll, opening up new ways for you to save yourself valuable seconds, or you know, just save yourself.

Additionally on supported platforms, a new Critical Hit pack is also available, which adds some “epic fantasy” flair into the world of Golf With Your Friends. This content is paid however, priced at £3.99/$3.99/€3.99 or local equivalent.
