Omega Force and Techmo Koei only just announced that their upcoming release of Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires (For those who are wondering by the trailer name, the game is titled 真・三國無双6 Empires in Japan) has been delayed until the 8th November 2012 in Japan, with an English localized release confirmed and assumed for release in early-2013. While this was to improve the releases quality, this does not mean they will spend the next month sitting on the game…. in-fact they have just released this brand new trailer for it.
The trailer showcases what sets this game apart from the others in the series – the obligatory “Create a Warrior / Edit Mode” that is present in every Empires game which allows you to insert yourself, a mate or any figment of your imagination as a playable character in-game. In addition, an oddity for an Empires game but the game features a brand new Musou Warrior Xu Shu, who has previously been a generic character.
The game is exclusive to the Playstation 3 both in Japan and (at the moment) internationally.
