Sony to Release Their Internet Player with Google TV in Australia Soon

-

Sony’s new Internet Player with Google TV brings the best of the web to the big screen, featuring the fastest web browsing of any smart TV experience. Searching and exploring the web is made easy with Sony’s unique smart remote with full QWERTY keyboard and touch pad controls. Access an ever growing library of apps optimised for TV including movies, games, news, social media and much more through the Google Play store. For more information, visit www.sony.com.au

Sony Australia have recently announced that their Internet Player with Google TV support will soon be hitting Australian shores, alongside other markets including the United States and United Kingdom. I won’t deny I have used comparable products in the past on my television with mixed reception – however considering the two companies behind this product I do have much higher expectations of the product when it launches.

The trailer above showcases some of the platforms features including support for numerous apps downloadable through the Google Play Store. Perhaps even the possibility of playing Angry Birds on a big screen perhaps?
