A few days ago, the gaming website Siliconera posted their interview with the president of Nippon Ichi Software America, and while there were some interesting questions such as (LINK):
Speaking of anime, are you going to license Persona 4: The Animation? (Which hints at it being possible considering NISA released a previous Persona anime and the popularity behind the series in the English market) and questions surrounding possible XBox360 games (Which was a more or less answer of “Doubtful”), there was one question and answer that stood out amongst the rest:
Oh one more thing… there are lots of requests for Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk-2.
No problem.
As you can no doubt guess, that got people talking about a possible release of the game in the English market, considering that the first game in the series was released last February and scored a B- overall grade from me (Review HERE). Very recently, they seem to have had an interview with Idea Factory, which brings the release even more possible (Original Link HERE):
I read your interview with Mr. Akenaga saying no problem,” said Urvois Damien, Business Development Manager. “You know, I called him right away to say the contract is ready anytime. It all depends on the fans. The title is not even released in Japan, we will release it next month.
From my guess, it seems like it is almost inevitable this game will be released, and hopefully with Tecmo Koei and Namco Bandai Partners releasing it semi-simultaneously in the UK and Australia as they did with the first game in the series.
