After performing on London’s West End, New York’s Broadway, Sydney, Melbourne and a number of other countries across the world, Australian theatrical producer and creator Global Creatures officially launched Moulin Rouge! The Musical in Brisbane a couple of weeks ago. Although you will not find me in the video (and in many respects, thankfully), you will see ome of the dazzling big-names, influencers, special guests and the show’s amazing cast and creatives featured in the above Brisbane opening night celebration video.
Moulin Rouge! The Musical will be performed at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s (QPAC) Lyric Theatre from now until 27 July 2023, with no possibility of extension due to the Melbourne encore season closely following it. If you are after a fun show that will leave you buzzing with joy, overwhelmed by euphoria from the dazzling staging, and raving about what in my opinion one of the first “Remix Musicals”, it is definitely worth checking out.
