Following the success they had with their Arena Spectacular version of Cats back in 2014, Harvest Rain Theatre Company is once again getting hundreds of professional and amateur performers on-stage for a three-day performance of Hairspray: The Big Fat Arena Spectacular. While they will be bringing this show to both Newcastle and Adelaide later this year rather than just remaining in their home city, Hairspray will begin at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre this Friday (8th April 2016). This means there are only a few more days remaining to nab yourself tickets to this show.
Tickets are still available for purchase, with prices starting from $69.00. There will be five sessions held across the period, which are: Fri 8 April @ 7:30pm, Sat 9 April @ 2pm & 7:30pm and Sun 10 April @ 1pm and 6:30pm. Bookings can be made via Ticketek.
This version of Hairspray will be directed and choreographed by Callum Mansfield. Featured stars include Simon Burke, Christine Anu, Tim Campbell, Wayne Scott Kermond, Amand Muggleton, Lauren McKenna and more. This is in addition to a cast of over 500 performers who will take the show from something suitable for the stage to something appropriate for a large arena.
