Providing Australian theatre fans with a behind the scenes look at Georgy Girl – The Seekers Musical, which is currently being performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne until March 20th, it has been confirmed that a ‘Behind the Scenes’ special will be airing on the Nine Network this Saturday (13th February) at 4:30pm. To be more specific, it will be screened on Nine and Nine HD, with a listed runtime of 30 minutes.
Georgy Girl – The Seekers Musical is an Australian made production, put on stage by an all Australian cast and creative team. The ‘Behind the Scenes’ documentary seeks to take viewers from across the country into the world where everything came together. From its inception, the creative process, rehearsal period and of course landing on stage, the special will feature interviews with all the cast and creative team as they work to bring this story and its music to the theatre stage.
Georgy Girl – The Seekers Musical is currently being performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne until March 20th, where it will then host its Sydney premiere on April 2nd for a strictly limited season. It is currently unknown if any further legs are to be held in its Australian tour.
