Last week I published a post titled “The Arts Centre Gold Coast – Glitter Festival 2015 Basement Line-Up“, highlighting four events to be held in The Arts Centre Gold Coast’s ‘The Basement’ venue. But the venue is not going to be empty until then, and are set to host a ‘Comedy in the Basement’ session every Friday evening from September 11th until September 25 2015.

If you are 18 years or older and after a good laugh, check out the line-up below to see if anything catches your attention.

Mick Neven – Comedy in the Basement
Date:
11th September 2015 @ 8:00PM (Door/Bar Open at 6:30PM)
Tickets: $25.00 (Singles), $22.00 (Groups of 6+), $79.00 (Dinner and Show Package)

They say laughter is the best medicine, so if you’re in need of a good dose to kick start your weekend then look no further than the hilarious and extremely quick witted Mick Neven. Mick’s first gig was at The Arts Centre Gold Coast in October 2003 when he qualified for the semi-finals of the Legends of Laughter competition. Since then, Mick has been a regular performer at venues around the country.

Mick Meredith – Comedy in the Basement
Date: 11th September 2015 @ 8:00PM (Door/Bar Open at 6:30PM)
Tickets: $25.00 (Singles), $22.00 (Groups of 6+), $79.00 (Dinner and Show Package)

An iconic legend on the comedy scene, Mick Meredith always had a love for stand-up comedy and gave it a crack in the 1990’s at the legendary Harold park hotel. Since then he has appeared and headlined in every major comedy venue in Australia and is a regular crowd pleaser at The Basement.

Danny McGinlay – Comedy in the Basement
Date:
11th September 2015 @ 8:00PM (Door/Bar Open at 6:30PM)
Tickets: $25.00 (Singles), $22.00 (Groups of 6+), $79.00 (Dinner and Show Package)

He’s back to the delight of fans across the Gold Coast. Having once described himself as a “slightly nerdy bogan with too much testosterone” McGinlay is still succeeding in brining the house down. A definite must see comedy act.

Tickets for these shows can be ordered via the officialThe Arts Centre Gold Coast website or through their box office.

Do note that event descriptions have been sourced from The Arts Centre Gold Coast.
