Its Time to Cast Your Vote on New Gold Coast Cultural Precinct Construction Fencing Design

With the Gold Coast set to receive a new and improved Cultural Precinct in the coming years, and with Stage 1 planned for completion in time for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, construction work on the site at Evandale is soon set to commence. Over the last few weeks, The Arts Centre Gold Coast have made a call out to local artists for design submissions, with the winning design to be used for approximately 18 months to help give the construction fencing around the Cultural Precinct’s first stage of development some extra flair.

The entry stage has now been concluded and a voting period has commenced. From the eighteen entries received, a panel selected their Top 3. With these three (Gold Coast Happy Days by Go Suga, Aspects by Tyler Jackson and Waterways Wonderland by Tropical Loveland [A Collaboration between Rebecca Ross and Lucy Forsberg]) now chosen, it is time for the public to determine their favourite design.

To look at the designs, find more information on the cultural precinct and ultimately choose your personal favourite design, check out The Arts Centre Gold Coast website HERE.
