Having bid farewell to the Sydney Lyric Theatre a couple of days ago, the cast and crew of The Rocky Horror Show are now holding their second season at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre – which they also called home last year. Unfortunately this could also be the last leg of the show’s Australian tour, with no other performances announced to date outside this Melbourne season.

The Rocky Horror Show will only be at the venue for a limited time, with shows running from today until Sunday July 12 2015. Although their website boasts that the last show is in 27 days and 22 hours time, this is not to say there won’t be another couple of sessions tacked on to the end of it if there is demand – as has been the case with other stage musicals in the past.

During its recent tour in Australia, The Rocky Horror Show has traveled to Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne (All 2014) and Sydney (2015).

The 2015 Australian cast stars Craig McLachlan as the coveted role of Dr Frank N Furter, Amy Lehpamer as Janet, Stephen Mahy as Brad and Bert Newton as the Narrator. Other cast members include Kristian Lavercombe as Riff Raff, Jayde Westaby as Magenta, Angelique Cassimatis as Columbia, Nicholas Christo as Eddie and Dr Scott, and Brendan Irving as Rocky. Completing the cast are Nicholas Eaton, Meghan O’Shea, Suzanne Steele, Darren Tyler and Drew Weston.
