New Sessions Added to John Oliver’s Australian Tour – Still Limits Himself to Two States

Yesterday it was announced that John Oliver, a highly respected comedian and host of Last Week Tonight in the US, would be doing a very limited tour of Australia in August 2015. Although it seemed unlikely that there would only be more than one session in each state (Sydney and Melbourne), demand seems to have justified an extra session for each state being opened to the public.

As of now, sessions are now being held on August 27th / 28th at the Palais Theatre in Victoria and August 30th / 31st at the State Theatre in Sydney. Tickets seem to be in high demand, but as of this post there are still seats available via Ticketmaster.

As someone who resides in Queensland, I am still personally disappointed that no events have been announced for Brisbane. All we can hope is a bigger chunk of time is dedicated to any future tours, and that those residing in other states eventually get to listen to him speak.
