Starting today with the launch of their Incubator Season, Harvest Rain Theatre Company are set to hold three shows of Connect Four (Between April 30th and May 2nd). To mark this season, the company have shared the above promotional video, depicting what you can expect should you decide to attend one of their sessions.
Following recent seasons at the Metro Arts and The Arts Centre Gold Coast, local composer Alanya Bridge will be bringing her original musical back to Brisbane for this very limited season. The stage musical follows the lives of seven Australians whose lives intersect, as the choices they make impact not only on their lives but the lives of those around them. Connect Four has been directed by Danielle Carney, with David Lawrence serving as designer and Joel Nicholas Curtis as music director. The main cast consists of: Rex J Ablett, Vivien Emsworth, David Irvine, Danny Lazar, Ashleigh Stove, Chloe-Rose Taylor, and Jonathan Whitlow.

The Harvest Rain Theatre Company was recently involved in the recent season of The Pirates of Penzance (★★★★☆) at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) last month. They also held one of the most awesome school holiday workshops I could imagine – allowing Queensland youth to train for and ultimately partake in a production of Disney’s Aladdin Kids.
