Auditions for Miss Saigon @ The Arts Centre Gold Coast to Close Very Soon


3244The team at The Arts Centre Gold Coast have sent out a reminder that auditions for their limited season of Miss Saigon is set to close on March 11th 2015. Those interested in trying out for a role can find more information on the Arts Centre’s dedicated auditions page HERE.

They are seeking people to take on a number of roles in a set of seven productions which will be run during and between June 12th and June 20th 2015. Rehearsals will be run from April 15th to June 11th.

They are currently after individuals to play the principal character cast of Kim, Chris and The Engineer; a supporting cast of Ellen, John, Thuy, Gigi; a mixed gender ensemble and two children to play the six year old Tam in a non-speaking role.

Vocal auditions are set to be held on March 20-21st, a dance assessment on March 22nd and a final call-back on March 23rd. Once the cast has been locked in, part-time rehearsals will be held between April 15th and June 11th.

Directed by Brad Rush, this rendition of Miss Saigon features David Piper as musical director, Ellen Simpson as Choreographer, set designs by Josh Mcintosh and costume design by Jean Marashlian.
