Magical Delicacy to Launch on Nintendo Switch this Week

The cozy harbor town of Grat will soon be available for exploration on a new platform. Whitethorn Games’ Metroidvania-inspired cooking simulation game Magical Delicacy is set to release on Nintendo Switch on 15 August.

In Magical Delicacy, players take on the role of Flora, a young witch aiming to hone her magical abilities. Flora arrives in the adventurer’s town of Grat, where she sets up a shop to prepare meals and potions for the locals. As Flora navigates the town, she interacts with its diverse inhabitants, unravels hidden stories, and discovers that Grat holds more secrets than it first appears.

Players will collect ingredients from various sources, including local shops, foraging, and Flora’s own garden. These ingredients can be used in an upgradeable kitchen to create meals that satisfy the appetites of the town’s residents. The game also features elements of exploration, where players can unlock new abilities and access previously unreachable areas.
