Publisher Crossed Hearts has released an update regarding its content strategy for 2026, outlining a shift from a purely romance-focused catalogue to a broader range of genres and formats. Throughout 2025, the company has prioritised romance storytelling, licensing titles across Korean manhwa, Japanese manga, and Asian-origin novels.
According to the publisher, the 2026 slate will see an expansion into action, fantasy, mystery, isekai, thriller, and horror genres. This move is intended to provide a wider variety of content alongside their continued releases in the romance genre.
