UDON Entertainment Announces Mega Man Timelines Comic Series and Mega Man Adventures Hardcover Collections

In the lead-up to Free Comic Book Day on 3 May 2025, UDON Entertainment has announced plans for an extensive slate of Mega Man comic releases throughout the year as part of what it is calling #MegaMay.

Kicking off the initiative is Mega Man #0, which will be available for free at participating comic book retailers on Free Comic Book Day. This release will be followed by Mega Man: Timelines, a five-part one-shot series that explores different eras within the Mega Man universe.

Each of the five standalone issues will spotlight a distinct chapter of the franchise’s history, with creative teams drawn from UDON’s roster, former Mega Man comic contributors, and prominent members of the fan community. The release schedule for Mega Man: Timelines is as follows:

Mega Man Timelines #1 – May 2025
Story by Tavis Maiden, art by Kenny Ruiz

Mega Man X Timelines #1 – June 2025

Mega Man Zero Timelines #1 – July 2025

Mega Man ZX Timelines #1 – August 2025

Mega Man Legends Timelines #1 – September 2025

In addition to this new series, UDON Entertainment has also announced Mega Man Adventures, a forthcoming line of oversized hardcover collections. These volumes will reprint the classic Mega Man comic stories originally published by Archie Comics.

UDON has confirmed that they are collaborating directly with Archie Comics to source the necessary materials and ensure high-quality reproductions. Each volume will also include a new short story set within the original continuity, created by writers and artists who previously worked on the Archie series.

Further information, including release dates and volume details, is expected to be shared soon.
