Discover the Creative Work Which Went Into Shin Megami Tensei IV

-

smtivA few years ago, ATLUS developed and published Shin Megami Tensei IV on the Nintendo 3DS. This was a long-awaited numbered instalment in the main Megami Tensei series, and saw samurai come together with demons, feudalism and a post-apocalyptic world in one story. But are you interested in some of the work which went into and was created for the game? Udon Entertainment have released a new artbook which might be for you: Shin Megami Tensei IV: Official Artworks.

This book features character designs and profiles, background artwork, rough concepts, a glossary of terms, behind-the-scenes breakdowns of in-game cutscenes and interviews with the creative team. This book also highlights the demon and monster designs which went into the JRPG, as after all, demons are one of the main elements used in the gameplay of Megami Tensei games.

Headlined by lead artist Masayuki Doi, the book also includes guest character designs by Yasushi Nirasawa (Kamen Rider), Keita Amemiya (Onimusha), Yoshihiro Nishimura (Tokyo Gore Police) and more

Priced at approximately $39.99, Shin Megami Tensei IV: Official Artworks is a full-colour, soft-cover 208 page book coming it at 8.25 x 11.75”. As with most Udon Entertainment books, this book can be picked up through select book retailers and online stores.
