Crunchyroll has announced that the upcoming high-fantasy series Witch Hat Atelier will receive a same-day English dub release when it premieres next month. The first two episodes are scheduled to debut on 7 April 2026 at 12:00 AM AEST. This simulcast will offer the series in both English and Japanese – in addition to other dubbing options including French, German, Italian, Arabic, and multiple variations of Spanish and Portuguese.
The English voice cast features Anjali Kunapaneni as Coco and Joshua A. Waters as Qifrey. Supporting cast members include Madeleine Morris as Agott, Sarah Wiedenheft as Tetia, and Nerida Bronwen as Richeh. Additional roles are voiced by Reagan Murdock as Olruggio, Bryn Apprill as Brushbuddy, and Erin Nicole Lundquist as Iguin.
The production is being handled by BUG FILMS with Ayumu Watanabe serving as director. The series features a musical score composed by Yuka Kitamura.
Witch Hat Atelier focuses on a magicless girl named Coco who lives in a world where only those born as witches are permitted to cast spells. Her life changes after a failed attempt at forbidden magic leads to a tragic accident, resulting in her being taken in by a powerful witch named Qifrey. Under his guidance, Coco begins to study the art of magic in an effort to correct her past mistakes.
