Toei Animation has confirmed it will host an official One Piece exhibition at the CCXPMX pop culture festival in Mexico City from 24 April 2026 to 26 April 2026. This presence at the Centro Banamex represents the first time the studio has brought a dedicated exhibition to CCXP Mexico.
The daily exhibition features several interactive attractions, including a large scale Monkey D. Luffy “GEAR2” balloon and a photo opportunity with the Going Merry ship. Visitors can also engage with a Bounty Board and view light projections. For those attending on Saturday 25 April 2026, the first 200 guests who complete an on-site survey will be eligible to receive an exclusive One Piece straw hat.
In addition to the show floor activities, a premiere screening is scheduled for Saturday 25 April 2026 on the Thunder Stage by Cinemex. From 11:45 am to 12:30 pm CST, the event will showcase the Spanish dub of episodes 913 and 914, titled “Everyone is Annihilated! Kaido’s Furious Blast Breath” and “Finally Clashing! The Ferocious Luffy vs. Kaido!” respectively.
Lisa Yamatoya, who serves as the Senior Director and Head of Marketing for Toei Animation Inc., spoke about the studio’s excitement regarding the Mexican exhibition and the goal of introducing new viewers to the long running series:
We’re thrilled to bring this special ONE PIECE location-based entertainment experience to this year’s CCXPMX26. Our ONE PIECE exhibition is not only a thank you to long-time Mexican fans but also an invitation to the world of ONE PIECE for those who haven’t seen the series before. They’ll be fans before the festival ends! ONE PIECE is really something special!
