Prime Video used its San Diego Comic-Con “Hellaverse” panel to lock in two key streaming dates. Hazbin Hotel returns with its second season on 29 October, while both previously YouTube-exclusive seasons of Helluva Boss will land on the platform from 10 September alongside a new special episode titled “Mission: Zero”. The special follows the I.M.P. team’s first assassination and will remain exclusive to Prime Video for 45 days before heading to YouTube. All titles will stream in more than 240 countries and territories.
Creator Vivienne Medrano was joined on stage by Richard Horvitz, Brandon Rogers, Erika Henningsen and Amir Talai to detail the next chapter of the shared universe.
Season Two of Hazbin Hotel adds several new voices: Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy) plays Abel, Kevin Del Aguila portrays Baxter, Alex Newell steps in as Zeezi, Liz Callaway takes on the role of The Speaker of God and Andrew Durand appears as Prick.
Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie, princess of Hell, as she attempts to rehabilitate demons by converting a hotel into a pathway to Heaven. Helluva Boss centres on a demon-run assassination startup navigating contracts in the human world while juggling chaotic personal lives.
Atlantic Records has also been named the official music partner for the wider Hellaverse franchise, covering all seasons of Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel Season Two in partnership with SpindleHorse Productions and Prime Video. Soundtracks for Helluva Boss Seasons One and Two will be released on 10 September, with pre-orders for the Season One album open now and physical editions set for 28 July. A new track, “You Will Be Okay”, is available today on digital services.
