Pony Canyon has released the second key visual and a new trailer for the upcoming anime Me and the Alien MuMu (宇宙人ムームー, Uchūjin Mūmū), set to premiere in Japan on 10 April 2025. The key visual showcases a scene from the anime’s setting, depicting the view from Machida Station in Machida City, alongside the ten main characters.
The latest trailer (available above) features the adorable MuMu, along with the debut of Siberia and their partner Junichiro Anamori. As part of the announcement, Karin Takahashi, the voice of Siberia, and Katsuyuki Konishi, the voice of Junichiro Anamori, shared their thoughts on joining the series:
This is Karin Takahashi, the voice of Siberia. After I was cast, I read the original work and became completely captivated by the cuteness of the cats and the fun of the household appliances!

Siberia is always grumpy, but he’s a cute character you can’t help but love. I hope you all will come to love him too.
The recording studio was filled with a warm and fun atmosphere, and it really felt like the warmth of the show itself. I’m so happy to be a part of such a wonderful project! I hope everyone enjoys the daily life of the MuMu seniors!
Hello everyone. I’m Katsuyuki Konishi, and I’ll be playing the role of Junichiro Anamori in Me and the Alien MuMu. I’ve always been a fan of Miyashita-sensei’s manga and have read it quite often, so I’m delighted to be part of this!

It has also been confirmed that the anime’s opening theme is ‘Fishigi na Kimi’, performed by SABASISTER, who expressed their excitement about contributing to the series:
We had the pleasure of writing and composing the opening theme song for Me and the Alien MuMu. I especially love the chorus of Fushigi na Kimi, and it’s a fun and exciting song that captures MuMu’s cuteness and a bit of his mysterious side in the lyrics.
For those who got to know SABASISTER through Me and the Alien MuMu, we’d be so happy if you could also attend one of our live performances!
The ending theme song, Sayonara Jinrui, will be performed by Sakurako & MuMu.
Me and the Alien MuMu follows MuMu, a feline alien from a distant galaxy, who arrives on Earth in search of home appliance technology to restore what his species has lost. His unexpected arrival disrupts the typical university life of Sakurako, leading to an adventure filled with comedy, chaos, and mysterious gadget-fueled antics.
