Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered, bringing the PlayStation Vita action RPG to the West for the first time. This remastered edition enhances the original game with upgraded visuals, a redesigned user interface, a new target lock-on mode, and full English localization. The game is set to launch on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on 22 May 2025, with pre-orders available now for the Steam version.
In Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered, players step into the role of a soldier in a war-torn world, aligning with one of three factions—Earth Alliance, Z.A.F.T., or Archangel—to take part in story missions inspired by key battles from the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED universe. The game includes missions from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, and additional side stories such as Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73: Stargazer.
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered is set to feature over 100 mobile suits, which players can customise and tune to their liking, to optimise their own individual fast-paced hack-and-slash combat experience. The remastered version retains the core gameplay of the original title while incorporating quality-of-life improvements, including refined tuning mechanics, improved mission selection, and a newly added lock-on mode for a smoother and more accessible gameplay experience.
