Bandai Namco Music Live Inc. has announced the upcoming release of Yummy Yummy, a collaborative single by Nijisanji VTubers Kaede Higuchi and Kanae. The song will serve as the ending theme for the TV anime Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!, which premieres in January 2025. The single will be available on 29 January 2025 in both Limited and Regular Editions.
Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! is a romantic comedy blending slice-of-life storytelling with isekai action. The anime follows Kazuhiro Kitase, who can travel to another world in his dreams, and Mariabelle, an elf who finds herself in modern Japan. Together, they explore their respective worlds, enjoying Japan’s landscapes and cuisine while tackling fantastical challenges.
The single Yummy Yummy is a lively pop track evoking the joy of discovering new flavours, seeking to reflect the anime’s themes. In addition to the duet, the release features two solo songs: Kaede Higuchi’s Ano ne, Boku ne and Kanae’s Ai My Kyorikan. Both editions include instrumental versions of all tracks, with jacket illustrations by yatoyato (Limited Edition) and Yappen (Regular Edition). The Limited Edition also includes a trading card, slipcase, and a booklet featuring music video storyboards and illustrations. Special editions available via the Nijisanji Official Store will include Aurora Acrylic Stands of Kaede Higuchi or Kanae.
