After a few years of waiting since Season 2 finished airing, Kadokawa has announced that Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 will commence airing in Japan starting October 2024, and with the announcement, has shared a new trailer, character visual and more.
Season 3 will take place a year after the liberation of ‘The Sanctuary’, where Subaru Natsuki defeated Elsa and fulfilled his contract with Beatrice in the battle against the Great Rabbits.Emilia camp was united as they faced the royal election, and Subaru Natsuki was living a fulfilling life, but the peace and quiet came to an end with a single letter delivered by a messenger.
The letter was from Anastasia, one of the candidates for the royal selection, to invite Emilia to the Watergate City of Priestella, one of the five largest cities in Lugunica. Accepting the invitation, Subaru and his party set off for Priestella, where a variety of reunions awaited them.
One unexpected, one unintended, and one to come. The stirrings of malice writhing beneath the surface of the water and an unprecedented crisis loom over them. Once again, the boy faces a cruel fate.
The first preview trailer (PV1) for Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 sets out to give viewers a taste of the various encounters that await Subaru, Emilia, and members of her camp in the Watergate City of Priestella. This includes our first look at Liliana Masquerade, voiced by Aya Yamane, who will be making her anime debut this season. More information on the character can be found below:

In contrast to her brilliant singing, she is a high-spirited girl with somewhat erratic behavior.
As a celebrity fanatic, she gets star struck easily.
Hoping to sing of a new heroic tale, she half-forcefully cooperates with Subaru, asking him to tell her about the defeat of the Three Mabeast and the Sin Archbishop of Witch Cult.
