HIDIVE Receives Major Update Offering Improved User Experience

AMC Networks has rolled out a substantial upgrade to its anime streaming service, HIDIVE, with the introduction of a new website and device applications. This update is now available to subscribers in the U.S., Canada, and other international locations – and is available for both future offering’s on the platform, and its range of already available anime offerings, including but by no means limited to Oshi no Ko, The Eminence in Shadow, HELCK, Chained Soldier, My Instant Death Ability is Overpowered, and The Dangers in My Heart.

The revamped HIDIVE platform offers a redesigned user interface, streamlined menus, and improved features aimed at enhancing content discovery, personalization, and playback. Key upgrades include an updated search function and watch history, making it easier for subscribers to find their preferred titles by category and genre or identify previously watched content. One of the highlight features implemented in this update is the introduction of offline viewing, allowing users to download content for later viewing without an internet connection.

John Ledford, President of HIDIVE, expressed excitement about the new launch, sharing:

It’s an exciting day for HIDIVE, as we rollout our new website and apps, marrying our high-quality and popular anime content with the best possible streaming experience. With a multitude of upgrades and new features across the service, subscribers can not only easily find and quickly watch the movies and series they want, but also download and take their favorite anime with them – whenever and wherever they want.

HIDIVE is now available via the anime streaming platform’s official website, in addition to newly updated apps for a range of platforms including Apple TV 4K, iPhone, Android Mobile, Android TV, Roku, and Fire TV.

HIDIVE is a subscription-supported streaming platform, which officially licenses the streaming rights for major anime titles airing in Japan – including many titles which will later be published on Blu-ray under the Sentai brand.
