Hunter x Hunter Headed to AnimeLab This Friday 1

Last week, Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment teased that their “No. 1 Requested Show” would begin streaming via their AnimeLab video-on-demand streaming service this Friday. While there were many guesses to what they could be from serious to definitely-not-going-to-happen, it has been confirmed that the 148-episode anime Hunter x Hunter is headed to AnimeLab this Friday.

Based on the long-running manga by Yoshihiro Togashi, the Hunter x Hunter TV anime aired in Japan between October 2011 and September 2014 and features animation by Madhouse. All 148-episodes will be made available at once, with the option to view each episode with either the original Japanese audio w/ English subtitles or the newer Viz Media English dub. Once the episodes go live, you can begin watching them HERE.

AnimeLab is an online anime streaming service managed by Madman Entertainment. It’s accessible only to those residing in Australia and New Zealand and offers a basic service free with video quality, dub and availability timeframe limitations. For those looking for access to no simulcast delays, no ads, full back-catalogue access and high definition video can take advantage of a premium subscription membership for $7.95AUD/month or $79.50AUD/year.

About Hunter x Hunter

Young Gon dreams of following in his father’s path and becoming a Hunter, an elite class of adventurer with legendary skills. But to make the grade he’ll first have to pass the extremely difficult and dangerous Hunter Qualification Exam.

His journey leads him on the shared path of the Hunter’s exam, to lands beyond imagination and to friends who grow closer with each new trial. As the difficulty of the challenges mounts, will Gon and his friends prevail or will they wash out like so many others?
