Although the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many anime festivalsto be postponed or outright cancelled; North American anime publisher Funimation Entertainment has responded to this by taking their festivities digital. Next month, they will be hosting a digital-only convention for anime fans in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand for early next month. This convention, is named FunimationCon 2020.
A selection of programming is already confirmed. This includes a My Hero One’s Justice 2 e-sports challenge, panels with the English voice actors of series such as Attack on Titan, Listeners and Toilet-bound Hanako-kun and many more. But, while most of this revolves around Funimation licenses, this is not to say other publishers won’t have a presence during the event.
In a recent announcement, it was confirmed that Aniplex of America, Viz Media and Right Stuf will all have panels during the event. More information for each of these can be found below:

VIZ MEDIA HOSTED PANEL
Shonen Jump Virtual Panel – Host Urian Brown and SJ Editor Alexis Kirsch will be taking deep dives into Shonen Jump monster hits like Black Clover, One Piece and more. Plus, interviews and games with My Hero Academia voice actors Justin Briner (Deku) and Christopher Sabat (All Might).
