Prior to episodes of Bushiroad’s TV anime BanG Dream! 3rd Season beginning to air in Japan on 23 January 2020, Sentai Filmworks have confirmed they hold the show’s license for the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Latin America and Central America.
This band battling anime will see animation studio SANZIGEN return to produce it, while Kohdai Kakimoto also returns to direct. The series stars Aimi (Hentai Prince & the Stony Cat) as Kasumi Toyama of Poppin’Party, Aina Aiba (Revue Starlight) as Yukina Minato of Roselia and vocalist Raychell as Layer of RAISE A SUILEN.
The girl-powered bands are gigging again. That means Poppin’Party and other fan favourites are set to return for an all-new season of BanG Dream! Now that Kasumi and the rest of Poppin’Party are taking charge of their own show, the sky’s the limit for their rockin’ musical ambitions and dreams of stardom. But they’ll have to contend with other bands looking for their big break, and their friendship will be put to the ultimate test as they rock their way to the top of the charts!
Sentai Filmworks has confirmed that episodes of BanG Dream! 3rd Season will be streamable via select digital outlets, and they do have plans for a home video release in the future.
